12 Energy Tips You Need in Your Life [Pt. 1]

Now, let me ask you this…

How familiar does this sound?

“I can’t get up in the morning.”

“I am exhausted all the time.”

“I can’t find time for exercise by the end of the day I’m too tired.”

The list goes on.

And trust me you’re not alone in this one.

Not by a long shot.

But don’t worry I have got you covered.

This week I am going to be sharing my 12 secrets to an abundance of energy, that I typically save for my clients…

However, be warned some of these are going to be outside the norm of what you are used to.

Some of these you may turn your nose up.

And some of these will just make you say NO!

But I do promise any one of these, will have a drastic effect on how your day goes.

And if you do all 12,


You would basically become a superhero…

Maybe not quite that far, but the difference in your life would exponential.

So now that I am done selling you on how amazing extra energy would be, not that I had to, let’s get into the good stuff.

Amazing Energy Boosting Tip #1

Let’s start at the beginning of the day with when that pain in the ass alarm goes off.

Now here is the two options and let’s see which one sounds like the most typical response?

  1. The alarm goes off, and you jump out of bed feeling rejuvenated and ready for the day?
  2. You smack that damn thing until it shuts up and you demand it gives you five more minutes of rest.

Does number 2 sound more familiar?

Don’t worry I have been there as well; it plagues a lot of us.

But this simple act of hitting the snooze button has set your day up to a long one, filled with exhaustion and that’s before you have even rolled out of bed.

Not the best start in the world is it?

So let’s correct this, ASAP. It doesn’t matter if you set your alarm the 5-45 minutes later depending on how long you normally snooze for.

(And yes, that figure is correct I know someone who keeps pressing snooze for 45 mins, every day)

Because hitting snooze and slightly going back to sleep will throw off your body’s clock and will try to put you back to sleep only to leave you groggy and over tired.

Let’s put it this way if you can’t go back to sleep for at least an hour and a half.

Just don’t.

I know that’s hard and may take some practice, but this simple change will have you on the right path a lot sooner.

Amazing Energy Boosting Tip #2

Alright, so you managed to wake up on the first alarm, what now.

Well, I want to build upon this because you didn’t snooze doesn’t mean you got out of bed.

So let’s make sure you do, put your alarm clock on the other side of the room.

Yep, you heard me; I want you to put it so far away that you have to go out of your way to get to it, this action will force you to wake up and start your day right and leads us straight into the next tip.

Amazing Energy Boosting Tip #3


That’s right I want you to drop down and give me 50.

I joke.

But in all seriousness, doing something first thing in the morning isn’t only going to improve your energy levels for the day, it will boost your metabolism, improve circulation and even help you burn a bit more fat.

I think all that is worth the effort, don’t you?

So here it doesn’t matter what you do, just do something.

Walk up and down the stairs, mini squats, jump on a mini trampoline like Tony Robbins (My personal favourite, because if you’ve seen that man, he is always full of energy despite working 18 hour days.)

Just do something that will get the blood flowing.

Amazing Energy Boosting Tip #4

This one may seem like one that you can brush off as a nothing thing,

But I urge you not to do that.

Please make sure that you do do this.

It will help with overall health, cleanse the system and improve your circulation and metabolism.

And it’s straightforward.

Drum roll, please…


Drink a large glass of water.

Yep, that’s it.

I told you.

So simple, and yet will boost your energy levels and make you feel a whole lot better!

The more water you consume first thing in the morning the better.

Up to 1L

So that’s it for today on, incredible way’s to have so much energy you feel like a three-year-old on sugar.

While still in bed stretch out as big as you can!

Not only will this help loosen everything up and help keep your back healthy.

A Harvard study suggests that making yourself as big as possible first thing in the morning will subconsciously improve your self-confidence.

Now there is a way to finish it off.

So make sure you are back on Thursday!
