It can happen that quick

Without warning

Everything is blown out

So fast, you may not even notice…

And that’s the scary part

That you might think everything is fine

Better than fine actually

You think it’s great

That you are doing everything right and it just sneaks away from you

Now that is heart breaking

And it can happen to anyone

Now if you know my stuff, you know I am not a big fan of calorie counting, but…

And it’s big but

It’s important, purely because even if you get the hormones right, the exercise right and are eating the right types of food.

If you blow out your calories it can all be for nothing.

And that is devastating

Now I do actually hate calorie counting, it is a giant my pain in my ass

But if you aren’t getting the results that you should be this is the place to start.

Now most people can get away with not even looking at calorie counting until they are within like 5-10kgs of their goal weight.

But if your not seeing the results you want or the results are very slow I would start here.

Myfitnesspal is a great free app that will help you out with this, all you have to do is put in the foods you eat and it will tell you the macro-nutrient breakdown and how many calories.

This is also a very important one if you are diabetic or gluten intolerant, because lots of things can sneak up your calories without you noticing.

But calories in and calories out are the most basic form of weight loss.

In fact a Dr in America wanted to prove that it was all you needed to lose weight, so created the Twinkie diet.

I kid you not, all he ate was Twinkies for a month and lost something like 10 pounds. Which is a sizable weight loss regardless.

But as you would imagine he wasn’t very well afterwards

But it just demonstrates if nothing else is working this is the clinch pin of the situation.

So that’s all I have for you today

If your not where you want to be yet start tracking your calories.

If nothing else it will make you more aware of what you put in your mouth.

Until next time,
